Ayah Bunda
Ulang tahun adalah saat mensyukuri berkah yang sudah diberikan Yang Mahakuasa, dan kesempatan untuk menjadi lebih baik di masa datang. Sehubungan dengan itu, syukuran ulang tahun di sekolah dilakukan dengan:
- Penetapan tanggal prosesi di hari Rabu minggu keempat, kecuali dinyatakan lain. Apabila ada beberapa anak yang berulang tahun di bulan itu, prosesi dilakukan pada hari yang sama.
- Peran Ayah dan Bunda:
- Mengirim foto sejak lahir sampai tahun terakhir. Kakak Pendamping Kelas akan membuatnya menjadi buku Sejarah Hidupku. Ketika anak berpindah kelas, buku akan diberikan kepada guru di kelas baru. Di saat dia berulang tahun, Ayah Bunda mengirim foto lagi sehingga isi buku akan bertambah. Ketika seorang anak meninggalkan Sekolah Tetum Bunaya, buku akan diberikan.
- Mengisi formulir tentang perkembangan anak dari tahun ke tahun. Tulisan Ayah Bunda akan dibacakan pada saat prosesi.
- Mengajak anak mensyukuri berkah dengan berkontribusi buku untuk Perpustakaan Tetum Bunaya. Tahun-tahun sebelumnya kami meminta Ayah Bunda membawa tanaman. Karena kami tengah menggalakkan program literasi, kami menghendaki peran serta keluarga Ayah dan Bunda untuk pengembangan perpustakaan.
- Hadir pada acara (kalau bisa). Ayah Bunda dapat hadir pada acara. Ayah Bunda dapat memotret atau mengabadikan acara untuk dokumentasi pribadi. Prosesi ulang tahun dilakukan dengan mengelilingi matahari sambil membawa globe, sebanyak usianya. Artinya, dia bersama bumi sudah sebanyak itu mengitari matahari. Di saat itu Kakak akan membacakan tahap demi tahap sejarah hidupnya. Kerja sama yang kami harapkan:
- Mohon kerja sama Ayah dan Bunda untuk tidak menyebarkan undangan ulang tahun sehubungan dengan prosesi. Apabila Ayah dan Bunda akan menyelenggarakan acara di luar sekolah, mohon tidak menitipkan undangan kepada kami.
- Mohon juga tidak membawa goody bags, sebaik apa pun tujuannya (celengan, buku, pensil, barang buatan sendiri)
- Mohon tidak membawa kue ulang tahun ataupun bingkisan apa pun.
- Mohon tidak memberi kado kepada yang berulang tahun.
Terima kasih atas perhatian Ayah dan Bunda. Kita jadikan ulang tahun sebagai momen untuk bersyukur untuk keberkahan yang diperoleh Ayah Bunda sekeluarga.
